This thing is too hot. Still, not as good-looking as the Ziba/Intel, but I can bet the Z/I doesn't and can't use any nVidia GPU. Now I can't decide which one to choose from!!!

Again give me a 15.4" with a solid GPU and I will be all over this thing like a stalker on a super model.
Finally! The Dell 700m/710m series was awesome and then Dell "brickified" it with the XPS m1210. Why is it that all Dell laptops are massive?
This is finally something worth buying. The design does look a little (a lot) like a Sony Vaio though.
Please bring it out with XP so we don't have to run the hog Vista. Better yet, please allow us to purchase it with Ubuntu or FreeOS. That way we don't have to pay the Windows Tax and we can pick the OS of our choise.
As soon as I order this I am going to have to get a new privacy filter so I can be "stealthy" on the road. Put a cool 13.3" Widescreen privacy filter from ViewGuard (www.buyviewguard.com) on this baby and I am good to work in Starbucks (or at a client site) without anyone watching me surf Engadget......
All I can think of when I see a Dell now is 'Wal Mart'
it is now a tainted brand.
There will only be one system that will be available at Walmart. One of the lower end Dimension 521 with a base and medium configuration

Does anyone know if there are plans to include blu-ray as an option given the HDMI output to larger displays.
Definitely a great entry in the looks department. Would've liked to maybe get a slightly higher res (I'm expecting 1280x800 most likely), but I think it's a really nice alternative to the MacBook for us that can't stand OSX and all of the crap that goes with owning a mac. Plus, I can't afford to buy multiple copies of the Adobe Suite to run on both platforms.. so it's helpful there too.

how much is this new xps going to cost me if i want to purchase one??????
1,589 before tax for LED back light and dedicated video card. I wish i had that much money to buy one :P.
