Razer teases Boomslang Collector's Edition 2007 mouse
Early adopters who hitched their wagon to Razer early on are likely to remember the elusive "First Edition" Boomslang mice, and if you've been clamoring for a practically identical replacement, Razer's got you covered. The Boomslang Collector's Edition 2007 will make its debut at this summer's DreamHack, will be limited to 10,000 units worldwide, and will be encased in a sleek titanium housing. Moreover, the mouse will glow green from underneath to add that final dash of 1337-ness at a dark LAN party, but there's no word yet on DPI nor price.

it looks good, but if the light is blue, it would be perfect to fit my system...

The Habu (also from Razor) has extra side buttons, is blue, and is a great mouse I love mine.

I hope they offer the Razer Boomslang fanny pack like before. I can't tell you how many chicks I picked up wearing that thing out.

How about displaying power consumption? My Razer Diamondback Plasma edition powers on only half the time on reboots. LOVE Razer mice, but enough with the USB bus-suckin already.

OH MY GOD YES!
Finally! I been waiting for them to recreate the boomslang but with an optical sensor.
Hopefully this "collector" edition wont be too overpriced. and has some extra buttons on the side.

who collects mouses anyway?
is it 'mice' when you are referring to more than one of the input device, or does that only apply to the mammal?

I had one of the original ones. The build quality wasn't so sweet (Razer replaced it twice) but when it was working, it owned. It served up many death blows in Team Fortress and Counter Strike back at the start of the decade.
