iriver's elegant P10 PMP espied on teaser site
We've yet to really grasp what iriver is trying to show us with its perpetual stream of sexy new gizmos that we know next to nothing about, but you've got to give its marketing team a hearty round of applause as we come to the (expected) end of the series. Today we're getting a glimpse at the elusive P10 portable media player, which looks to sport a trendy white enclosure, kickstand for extended viewing sessions, expansive widescreen display, and stately integrated controls on the bezel. Interestingly, it is noted that this here rendition is a prototype of some sort, but the actual P10 should be launching "sometime this year" for a currently undisclosed price.

Looks sweet. I hope it has a high res display (ie, higher than QVGA -- hopefully 800px wide)
Since that kickstand is completely removable, I assume it is a dual-purpose device, much like the stylus is used as a kickstand on some UMPCs.
Wow, finaly a PMP with mostly-all screenarea. I hope I can afford this beauty. And that the specs read as good as these pictures look.
Oooomph...looks like a Nintendo DS Lite stabbed in the back of the head with its own stylus!
iriver is on a tear lately. Hope this stuff hits shelves soon.
a browser & wifi - pleeeeeze
Is iRiver the new Sony? They been puttin' out the sexx these past couple years!
"a browser & wifi - pleeeeeze"
I seriously don't know why you don't just use a tabletpc. There's nothing you can't do with one of those.
it would be nice if it can make phone calls, too. + gps & open platform...am i asking too much?
who else thinks it kinda looks like the ibook tablet that guy made a few years back?
Just because it's white doesn't mean it's copying whatever that big fruit company is..
I love how the controls are all situated around the screen's borders in the pictures.. looks like a really awesome pmp. Hopefully iRiver will use this design as a platform for future devices.. such as a phone :D or camera.. or both.. etc.
It's gonna be 3.3 inches...I think
To koreanboy// no. the "REMEMBER 33" means the base model is going to cost 330thousand Won (around $350)
Notice the "average size" compared to the "iriver size" thing, so, what do they consider average? A 9" PVP......... I think not. Then in the next photo it says "less is more", but I really doubt it's any smaller than an Archos 704. Now don't get me wrong, I love iRiver, and the P10 looks promising, but I think that they could have had better advertising.
Do they hired the Nintendo DS lite design staff?
Huehueheuuheuheu...
