i dont think it'll be much use for other games...
the wii mote is also more suitable for playing pool...
Are you kidding? I can think of atleast 5 other real-life sports games you can play with a pool-cue that could be adapted to the Wii!
Just think: fighting games.
JUST THINK: Soul Caluibur for the Wii.
that attachment would be perfect. i'd be breakin' a few lamps in the house.
The Wii Pool game in Wii Play relies on the pointer function of the remote. Unless the tip of this "cue" transmits that info back to the IR camera, I don't see how this would be of any use for Wii Play.
Nintendo Wii Fanboy had a much better article about this.

I doubt the attachment will block the IR pointing ability of the Wiimote (and if it does, then I agree that it'll be pretty useless).
I'd much rather a real full size pool table though (along with a house with a gaming room big enough to fit it properly too).
Imagine throwing THAT through a TV screen... This could lead to some pretty interesting injuries; people already do enough damage with the simple controller, so you hand them a lance? Wii jousting!
Why not just duck tape a Wiimote to pool cue? Duck tape fixes everything else, why not your non-realistic wii pool having woes?
I agree. You could just duct tape the controller to anything. I love Wii.
does it vibrate too?
Great, now I can finally practice fencing.
"...Duck tape..."

Say it with me people, DUCT tape. No aquatic birds involved.
Duck Tape

(I know - I think it should be duct tape too, but technically one can get away with using duck tape in the same way as one can say sellotape or scotch tape instead of sticky tape)
well I'll be damned... must be an America-only brand. We don't get it in Aus, anyway!
if it vibrates im getting one,,, o yeah
And look at it... competition is already heating up - now $14 at this Chinese outlet:

that's $14 with free shipping.. just to add
