Mio prepping P360, P560 PDA / GPS units

It looks like Mio has a couple of new GPS-heavy PDAs in the works, with its new P360 and P560 models apparently set to replace the company's previous P350 and P550 units. While complete specs are still a little light, the biggest news here appears to be the addition of WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, both of which were sorely lacking on the previous models. Otherwise, the devices have a slightly more streamlined design than before, along with an SD/MMC slot for expansion, a built-in microphone, and an embedded GPS antenna, with Windows Mobile 6 serving as the operating system. No word on pricing or availability, though the previous gen models started at €269 (or $366 at the current exchange rate).

ZOMG a device you DIDN'T say looks like the iphone!
gotta be a first for engadget!
Or maybe you woke up and realized PDAs came first and do more for less.
Sorry if this is mentioned in the FA, can't be bothered reading all the way through it ;o)
I have a P550 and last time I checked it already had wi-fi ( b/g ) and bluetooth, but woebetide anyone who wants to use either ( both :O ) for any length of time
No comments on rtfa blah blah, I am quite aware I didn't and don't need this being pointed out by the pale denizens of parental basements ;o)
tatty bye
Yeah I have a P550 too, and it has both wifi and BT built in.
The device has problems and Mio doesn't seem to support it very well. Mine seems to turn off (and won't turn back on) every few days, forcing a soft-reset to get it back on. And the BT in it sucks - very crippled - it's 2.0, but no A2DP, for eg.
And don't get me started on battery life. Seems mine, out of the box, barely lasts an hour with wifi, and 1.5 hours with GPS.
Mark Hi
I had the same switch on / off problems and Mio have a fix on their website ( been there a few years ) needs a HARD reset to apply but mine's been fine since. Battery life still crap with wifi/bt on but then it will be. Try an external battery device, its a hi-cap battery with USB port and a range of adaptors that can be used to charge many devices.
Oh yeah, when charging your P550 make sure you use the manufacturers 1Amp charger, I have a few 500mA chargers and they just seem to drain the device
Good luck
Ah, you had me at GPS, but lost me with microscam, I mean soft.
We're still using PDA's? Really?
This thingy were supposed to support SDHC,
What happend to the SDHC support ?
Dissapointed...
