The thing about Wii is that was a new name that people easily made the name synonymous with the device. The problem with 7, is that it is too common and over used just look at how many wedding s there were on 7/7/07. The name 7, makes no sense......it's not the seventh version of windows....its not coming out on a year that ends in 7. Perhaps it's the number of flavors of the OS there will be, that would be an improvement over the 11 flavors of Vista.

Never used the other Windows layer on DOS hybrid efforts of Windows (Win31, Win95, Win98, or WinME) meself. From the naming convention "7" it looks like Microsoft are trying to forget them too.
