Dospara intros MSI-branded Prime Note Galleria

Japan's Dospara doesn't look to be trying too hard to conceal the source of its latest laptop, with the MSI logo prominently displayed on the lid of its new Prime Note Galleria, and just barely visible below the screen above. Cross-branding issues aside, the laptop certainly looks like it'll get the job done, boasting a 17-inch 1680 x 1050 display, Core 2 Duo T7300 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and, perhaps most notably, GeForce 8600 GT graphics. Of course, all that comes at the expense of an eight pound carrying weight, but if that's not too off-putting, you can grab one now for just under ¥200,000 (or roughly $1,700).

Hey, if nothing else, it's better looking than that Dell monstrosity further down the page.

I like the number pad integration since that's what I use for my custom binds.

plz.. remember that this is a finished model and out to market.. so dont compare this with the dell's spotted in the wild picture ;)

even sony ericsson's k850i looked awful in the prototype pic that was spotted in the wild :D

i'm pretty sure dell's XPS M1730 will be a LOT better when it comes out like they did with the XPS M1330...


so please wait for the 'wild' things to come into the civilised world. :P

DOSPARA is cheap and they deliver. If you pay cash you get fat discounts! I love them. Their English site is www.primepc.jp Give it a look. I mainly use them for components and pricing.

So why would we buy this instead of just buying the MSI directly for (possibly) cheaper?
