Boynq offers up a myriad of artsy speakers, peripherals
It's been a tick since we've seen any randomness from Boynq's labs, but it looks like the firm has worked up quite a number of design-centric speaker stations, iPod sound systems, and superfluous USB-related gizmos of late. Among the standouts are the iCube II (pictured), which sports ten-watts of amplification, an iPod docking port, line-in, dedicated treble / bass controls, and a rather sexy look, too. Additionally, the tooth-shaped Sabre operates much like the aforementioned device but touts twice the wattage and a video output, and the USB-powered Alibi webcam looks an awful lot like a robotic pet of some sort. Do yourself a favor and check out a few more photos of Boynq's zany lineup after the jump.

I propose the abbreviation YAiP: Yet Another iPod Peripheral We've only seen a dozen of these being introduced every week since the iPod became a hit.

Those things are sexy! I might have to find one of those.

I had a boynq Vase speaker...it broke a few months ago. It felt cheap the moment I opened the box, but I didn't want to admit to myself that I probably just wasted $30. Which isn't too much but still. It also never had good sound, or got loud enough. Then one day, it just didn't turn on anymore. I'd be wary...their stuff looks cool, but is cheap.

I don't care how cheap it is, I'd buy it just because it's made by a company called Boynq.
Heh heh, 'boynq'.
Though 10 watts is pretty poor.

I guess if you've already overpaid for a sub-par audio player, you might as well overpay for sup-par speakers, too.

Its for an ipod, not whatever you own.
