Browsing with Explorer, where the hell the the "up one level" button go?
UAC is the most annoying software effort ever conceived. The fact that is made it to market in it's current state confounds me.
Games Explorer is a joke.
NVidia get on the ball and put out some worthy drivers! (SLI is useless, a speed increase measured in single digit percentages). Oh, and you too, Creative Labs!
40 default processes? Why?
Can we make sure that if UAC is disabled, that Defender updating still works? That's the silliest bug, ever.
So where are all those nifty Ultimate plug-ins?
And this will sound trite, but here goes: Why do the alt-select menus (a-la right-click) look exactly like those used in Windows 95? Aero, indeed.
"Safely Remove Hardware" should have a way to hide card readers.
Indexing sucks.
Somebody already mentioned this, but how about being able to change the location of minor system folders like "Favorites".
Did I mention how much UAC sucks the balls of many small villages?

And when the Nazis weren't perfecting HDCP, they were working on file transfers between drives. 2 RAID0 arrays populated with 4 10K RPM Raptors shouldn't need 5 minutes to transfer a 700MB file. Or another five minutes to delete 30 5MB files off an SD card.

You're right, but there's a bug that will kill your ability to save favorites in IE7 if you move it (on some systems). That's what I was mentioning.
