Hmm, well 280 isn't THAT close to 480, even if you add 20% overhead you got some space to go, but yeah 50 would be the limit, so I guess they will have to go 1394b or eSATA or something. Both of which are less demanding on the system too. I wonder who will be the first, I guess it depends on who slaps together a tiny interface chip to enable such.
