NEC introduces 17-inch Versa P9110 laptop
Shortly after doling out a few new LaVies, NEC has now unveiled a new 17-incher for the media-centric set. The Versa P9110 comes in a trio of standard configurations, and offers up a range of Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Vista Home Premium / Ultimate, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, between 160GB and 250GB of hard drive space, 7.1-channel audio, NVIDIA's GeForce 8400M GS, a 56k modem for connecting up in dire situations, and a built-in mic for chatting, too. Furthermore, you'll get a dual-layer DVD burner, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, an ExpressCard slot, three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire connector, VGA / HDMI outputs, a four-in-one multicard reader, 1.3-megapixel webcam, a numeric keypad, WXGA+ widescreen panel, and of course, a built-in "subwoofer" to compliment the four speakers. No word on price just yet, but it's slated to land within the next couple of weeks.

Subwoofer?
LOL, what a Rip off of the MSI-1036 and most of the 17 inchers from the MSI laptop line, The woofer is weak so dont count on it being good.
heh.. I have the NEC i-Select M5610i.. I completely forgot I had a subwoover. you really dont notice its existence.
please i need a price!
All that screenage and no balls pushin the pixels
Can you buy me one Engadget?
My old Toshiba laptop had a subwoofer and an H/K sound system, it was awesome. The woofer actually did a lot and the system got extremely loud without distortion. My current Asus G1-S lappy is extremely fast, except the speakers are terrible and tinny sounding. -sigh-
Oh OH pick me....I think this represents the cutting edge for notebooks
It's 5 mega pixel camera time. Gotta have at least 3 or duh deal's arf.
I would love to win any product that you show they are all excellent
i wish my speakers could compliment me.
