All this does is make crooks throw it away after they've already stolen it. It's not as if a thief would think, "Ooh, it's the Medion. Not worth stealing since it's fingerprint-protected."
Plus, I'm sure there is some way to hard-reset it, or else this will cause a ton more headaches than it will prevent.
