We've definitely seen some of our favorite gizmos
turned into jewelry in the past, and while thiakosia's polymer clay-based Wiimote pieces aren't nearly as
tasty as some other homemade controllers we've seen, they'd look mighty geektastic hanging from your lobes. The artist claims to use Sculpey clay along with a single coat of satin glaze finish to construct each of the items, and so far, there's Wiimote-based cellphone charms, keychains and earrings for you to pick up. Your comments: The quality of the product is based more on the skill of the artist
than the material used to make it. In other words, no ammount of FIMO will save a bad artist.

Now if you whip your head around really quick with these in your ears, can you accidentally dislodge one and hit a TV? Or are these equipped with those newer, stronger tethers and hooks?
The Wii-mote earrings are an inch high, thank you. I'd love to see ANY of you, ANY of you, make them that tiny. Find a quarter - that's how tall they are - and then try to imagine putting tiny colored dots on it that are smaller than the head of a pin. With the earring hooks, they're 2.25" high total.
My gf was wearing these and she turned her head real fast, and the mini-wiimore went flying and embedde ditself into my 1.5" lcd tv-watch. Damn.
