Here we go, this "seven-inch 1,024 x 600 LED-backlit touchscreen" would fit perfectly in the Asus Eee PC! Anybody know if panels are easily swapped? DIYers out there?
Well, the panel would probably physically fit, but doesn't the eeePC use an 800x480 resolution? I wonder if the eeePC's graphics controller can run alternative resolutions, and how it physically interfaces with the panel. Either way, I guess buying a $1000 device to use its' parts to upgrade a $400 device would be something I wouldn't be able to do unless I was rich :P
