Gawd I want one of these! Shame the price translates from $249 to £200....
That is cheap, when a 32Gb SSD is about 4 times that. If only you could improve performance and pop it into a laptop and actually use it as a boot drive. But at that price I would bet the performace in dire.
Actually Transend's solid state drives are about the same price.

I would be skeptical of the performance of these two until I see some reviews. Getting this much flash memory this cheap usually means they're skimping somewhere. The 16GB model of the Voyager was significantly slower than its 8GB counterpart... Nice prices though.
wow, that's pretty cheap, considering that a good 8GB CF card runs you about the same price as the 16GB model.
With the capacities running this large and cheap we need ratification of USB 3.0 standard ASAP. I could not imagine waiting for this to fill up!
I have to say..... I have the voyager 16gb and it is the slowest flash drive I have ever used!
I actually purchased this Flash Voyager a few weeks ago. At least this model is available now. After formatting the available space is a whopping 30.2GB!!
With large files the write speed is 7MB/sec while reading is 21MB/sec. External hard drives are cheaper but not nearly as pocketable - and you don't need any cables obviously. I really like mine.
Things are coming along fast. Unfortunately I have ~300gb worth stuff though(Torrents...movies...music...anime...tv shows)
RIAA is going to love you if they see your admittance. LOL
Can you say "36 GB Eee?"
Yes you can :P. But 2 16gb sdhc cards is cheaper.
I was thinking that too: a 68GB Eee - Use both USB slots + main memory!
