Ok, we'll cop-to. We've got a hankerin' for Casio's new
EX-F1. The same unit we went hands-on with
back in October is back only now in a production body rockin' that same 60fps frame rate. Hell, don't listen to us swoon though, check the video hands-on after the break and let Casio walk you through the details highlighted by a 15 shot burst (with flash!) blinding of a Casio colleague.

Why? It's not an SLR.
rawhead @ Jan 6th 2008 8:43PM
Holy shit, I so want this, it's not even funny.
Then again, wanting something, for me, is never funny, because I usually end up getting it (at least, anything remotely within my financial reach), which results in all sorts of serious issues I will spare you guys with.

Quality not Quantity.
Mke @ Jan 6th 2008 10:47PM
Yeah, this thing isn't an SLR. What's the point? Buy one of those Sony HD camcorders.
Josh @ Jan 6th 2008 10:59PM
Agree completely - i would never drop even my weak 350D for this thing. I am sure there could be some use for it doing high speed photography where quality isn't as necessary as for a photojournalist.

But, what if the quality of the video is better than a Sony Handycam? Further, you can take high-quality pictures with it with its eral-camera optics. Do you guys realize that this camera has a hotshoe where you can mount a zoom microphone?
