I did as well, but I wouldn't say the FX1 blows mine away. Mine's equipped with Core 2 Duo T7200, 2GBRAM, 1920x1200 res monitor, GeForce 7900, 100GB 7200RPM HDD (replaced with 200GB 7200RPM HDD), integrated Wireless-N, all for around the $1600 range. Even today, those specs at that price are a steal so don't shed too many tears. We don't even know when these new laptops are coming out.

Man, I got my NX860XL for like $100 more and all but the resolution on the P-170 FX1 blow mine away and mine was bought only 6 months ago.

I guess you are right. Mine shares the same specs as yours except I have 150 gb HDD and if I remember correctly, it is 5400 RPM.
