Apparently, some Mac fanboy's can't read. 1440x900 is the low end resolution it supports for those budget minded people. Since people who buy Macs are used to spending twice as much for a computer as they should, they would likely go for the 1920x1200 resolution monitor that is available for this. And even though it may not be as "pretty" as a Macbook it will have way, way more under the hood, and it'll probably still cost less. Someone already beat me to the laughable comment of the touch pad not being centered so I'll leave it at that.
