That's right, it's like you're looking into some crazy crystal ball, one which is showing you how all your future interactions with your Mac will be carried out... probably. Feast your eyes on this glimpse into the soon-to-arrive apocalyptic nightmare-world of gestures.
However, that's a great made up statistic. And most of the posts have one or two lines after them, they're just for showing hands-on pictures of the brand spanking new products. I hear a freaking wahmbulance. shut up.
Lame articles based on First posts deserved to be ranked low. I dig Apple news, but stupid interface pics and articles that are equivalent to "First!" posts are as lame as the first ever "First!" post.
You know, to be honest, I'm kinda let down by today's announcement. I was really banking on a MacBook Touch with a multi-touch screen. You would not believe how much fun and useful that would be.
The multi-touch will probably work. Most of you use the two-finger gesture to scroll up and down, try this, also use two fingers, instead of moving both fingers in the same direction, move one up and the other one down in different speed, they would cancel each others speed out, and what's left is what you see on the screen. (easier to use one finger from each hand), try it out, you will see what i mean. So I mean at least anything involves 2 fingers will work. Note: i am using a 2G MacBook.
Not sure about the Air but all current MacBook models (as well as the Powerbook and iBooks) had a button on the bottom of the case that you press and 5 lights light up depending on how much battery you have remaining. I'm sure that Apple would have included this in the Air (Though I haven't seen it due to me not looking closely at the pics for them)
Now that i finally have a decent mouse, I think I'll stick with it, even though there are no 1st party drivers for it on Mac. Guess it will be fun to try out at least.
I highly doubt it would. It's not a feature built in to Windows, so why would it work? I expect to see a Leopard upgrade being pushed out in two weeks to add support for the multi-touch
Well I seem to remember that it did. I had boot camp going a month or so ago but then got rid of it due to lack of use. I think Bootcamp comes with all the drivers needed for windows and it would seem unlikely that the driver for the touch pad would not include full use of two finger scrolling.
I think thats the most useless notebook that was ever introduced from Apple. It is cool looking and it is thin, but what else can it do for you? I guess everything that a MacBook does but with limitations and for almost double the price.
My thought on this... Someone should make an app that makes use of the iphone or itouch as a trackpad for current macs. I can't code at all... So, pass the idea to your coding ninja friends.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

So do you go to political blogs on election day and complain that all they're talking about are the candidates and the elections?
Do me a favor: Use the $25 you saved buying a PC and buy yourself a clue.
Crap...just give me a mouse.

My mouse Logitech VX Revolution can do pretty much everything this touchpad can do and even more.

I want to know how to get the remaining battery info after I shut it!!

Does Multi-Touch Pad work when MBA is used on Windows xp/Vista via BootCamp? If I buy this, I'll be using Windows for work, and Mac for personal.

for all those people (including myself) wondering how to add MBA Multi-touch to current MacBook line up
shame - i was hoping it would have similar gesture functionality to ink.
would have thought it would be fairly simple to translate stylus-tablet gestures straight to the multi-touch trackpad.
My thought on this...
