ooooh.....pretty.
Er.
I bet this device is now more valuable than the organs and combined income of everyone in [Subject Hometown Here].
where is it on alienware's site?
This could be cool to have in like 2 years. Who would be my local reseller though?
So, how much is it?
Wait, is this one those "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" kind of deal?
yeah yeah pricey we get it but if you gotta go the PC route and don't wanna build you're own flavour then Alienware's great - they're the Mac of the PC world... Apple set a trend with their "appletax" (rhymes with apple mac's get it?) wherein you pay a premium just because it's apple, but a lot of people don't mind because usually it means you're gonna get a great product...
It starts at $2,199 according to the Alienware site.
As an apple fanbra, I am gonna give this a "thumbs up" . Like the packaging!
How many blu-ray movies can 4TB's fit? 10?
That case is nice... I have been looking for (and thinking of creating my own) a good case to rack mount my array.
But will it run Tivo?
Hangar 18... That's metal.
I think the "local authorized reseller" is http://www.alienware.com/
Ha ha, Hangar 18. Does Dave Mustaine get one for free?
Wake me up when I can buy a CableCard reader by itself... until then, fvck CableLabs, and any exceedingly overpriced product they touch!
Shiny!
