Tekkeon's NavDock provides on-TV navigation of iPod content
It's not like this hasn't been done a time or two before, but for those still looking for an ultra-convenient way to output iPod navigation onto a TV, here goes. Tekkeon's rather ho hum NavDock Home Media Center promises simple to use on-TV control of the menus and content on one's iPod, and the 16-button remote is sure to keep your thumbs busy while that derriere remains firmly planted. Unfortunately, this bugger doesn't offer up any kind of upscaling, but then again, it is priced at a somewhat reasonable $129.95.

Hmmmm...I can already do that...with my Zune Dock.
Apple TV Lite???
@Rob: i think this is aimed at iPod owners, not zune owners like yourself.
Maybe Apple will finally make this sort of functionality built-in, in future iPods. It wouldn't be too hard.
but does it work for us 4 million iPhone users???
will this work despite the video out lock on my ipod?
Rob, you can do this with your Zune dock? I didn't know this. This will make me buy one even more (but I'll wait till a 160gb one or larger). How is the interface?
Rob, I found a video of it. I'm in love with the Zune.. I have an Ipod (old version).. but I want a zune..

Cool idea but way over-priced. I can barely stomach the expensive docks Apple puts out directly, let alone one that costs almost as much as the friggin iPod itself. Come on people, back the price down to sub-$50 and you'll actually sell a few units!
I highly doubt it has the Apple video lockout chip in it, as it's not branded with the Apple logo and I've yet to see a non-Apple product with it yet.
Hi
Can i buy this item in Canada and
will my 5th gen 30 gig and 6th gen
160 gig work with this , movies etc
are not a concern for me , i simply want
to view and access all my ipod menus on
my larger tv screen , and thus i also need
a screen saver , i believe this has one
Pricey i agree , are there comparable
alternatives ?
Cheers
Yes, it has Apple chip to unlock the video.
It works with my family's iPods, video 5G, nano 3G, and classic.
