Sprint debuts "Simply Everything" plan for $99 a month

We're not sure what took them so long, but Sprint finally has joined its fellow major carriers in offering an unlimited plan for a flat rate -- the now industry standard $99 -- only this time it's for all the marbles. Instead of just the unlimited voice offered by AT&T and Verizon, or the voice + SMS that T-Mobile has on offer, Sprint is undercutting the competition with a $99 plan that includes voice, data, text, Sprint TV, GPS and more. "Simply Everything" is available today to both CDMA and iDEN customers, and is open to existing and new subscribers. If you've got a family plan, it's $5 less for every line you add ($99 + $94 + $89 and so on). While those with the gift of gab but no desire to surf the mobile webs might be disappointed that the rumored $60 unlimited voice plan didn't materialize, this certainly undercuts the competition by healthy margin for the smartphone crowd, which is exactly what we were hoping for out of Sprint.

By then T-mobile will come out with a better deal. SPrint is just begging for subscribers now. (but its really not that bad of a deal)

I've had a Sprint PPC-6700 for two years now. I have a basic 39.99 plan with a $15 unlimited data plan on top it it.

This phone is big, clunky and ugly but the unlimited data is wonderful. I currently use it as a modem and in the seattle area it's fast enough to play world of warcraft on the train while talking on VOIP.

Also, the modem runs fine with both fedora and ubuntu linux too, meaning I can get a ton of work done while communting.

I'm a big fan. It's good to have 3g speeds in the USA. (Pity this phone doesn't work in europe though).

I work for sprint and if it hasn't been answered which Im sure it has by now

the Simply everything includes everything including blackberry plan except enterprise blackberry.

It does not include tethering but tethering only cost $20 ontop instead of the usual $40 or so.

I've checked with sprint reps today and reverified with the Simply Anything Plan. They checked and stated YES. this includes everything, even the phone with the Internet connection. So that's good. I use just a pocket pc sprint phone along with my laptop. he checked and verified my account to and it was all covered. this was on 5/10/08

anyone know if At&t will feel the need to meet/beat the competitor, I like my at&t service and the unity feature in my area and my family benefits me well..... i just hate this $50 / month unlimited pda plan......
