I got my 8510p in January .. i asked some people over at HP Netherlands as to when Penryn will rock these models .. they told me end march/beginning of april... hehe .. +1 for not lying to me.
Got my T7700 model anyway in jan. 8510p is by far one of the best notebooks I ever got! Got the 5400rpm/T7700/1680x1050 model (GB956EA btw) for just 1337 euros (really .. including taxes and shipping it was 1337,30 euros haha) Great deal, speedy notebook, 4.5 hours of battery life (REALLY! :O), splendid build quility, 3y world-wide business-class warranty(!!).
just checked hp.nl .. they are listed on the master page but not on the model pages. But I doubt they can beat the 1337 euro deal.
On the downside it's no 2.5 ~ 2.6 kg "lightweight" for an 15". It's an "mighty" 2.8kg (you notice it) and it's no MacBook Air sexy thin. But it's sturdy. I'll take not-broken over broken anyday (huh slimmer asus crap? :X)
