Has anyone here gotten this done? I'm wondering what they use to coat it and if it adds any unwanted thickness to the unit. It if does I'd rather use some high quality model paint like Tamiya and do it myself. Around here somewhere I have an old Nokia I sprayed with Tamiya BaySide Blue metallic using an undercoat of white, then BaySide Blue and finished it off with a thin coat of clear. This was like 10 years ago and it never wore down. Those old Nokias were tanks, we called mine "God Phone" because it had been thrown from a speeding vehicle and left for days till I came back and called it to find it in the bushes. That phone also went swimming twice and still got great reception out in the middle of the desert. BTW BaySide Blue Metallic was the color they used on the R34 GT-R, a car which I was and still am totally obsessed with.
