Endeavor from Epson (yes, all six of you), the time has finally come. Astonishingly enough, the outfit's latest 13.3-incher actually isn't half bad, and comes equipped with such niceties as a WXGA panel, your choice of Windows XP / Vista, Intel's 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100, NVIDIA's 256MB GeForce 8600M GT, up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM, between 80GB and 250GB of HDD space, a dual-layer DVD burner and integrated Bluetooth. You'll also find gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, an ExpressCard slot, a multicard reader and a battery good for around 3.4-hours on a full charge. Reportedly, the 4.4-pound NA801 is set to ship later this month and start at ¥149,940 ($1,503), but you can drive that figure right on up if you're the CTO type.

Everyone is wondering since when did Epson start making laptops. ME TOO! Seriously did anyone even know until now? Has anyone ever experienced an Epson laptop before?

first thing I thought too .. they crammed a lot in there.
It looks like other companies are producing LG P300 equivalents now... nice! As a frequent business traveler, the idea of a 13 inch notebook that's powerful enough to be my primary pc (and even do some gaming) is very appealing. I can't wait until the larger OEMs and ODMs catch on to this design trend (13 inch lappies with decent graphics).

It's a 13.3" widescreen; it couldn't have come with anything less than a 1280x800 panel.
But the specs are pretty decent on this thing for the price.
It looks rather LG-ish in the picture.

Actually, this laptop has something more than a usual 13.3" laptop.
In fact, this laptop is the only 13.3" laptop with 2.5" HDD, Slot-in ODD, discrete graphics, RJ-11 and RJ-45, Express 54 slot, card reader, HDMI and the height is under 1".
Even Lenovo X300 cannot have the spec above.
Personally, I think this one is the king in 13.3" laptop.
