The Thinkpad X61 (or X61s for the LV crowd) has Intel Core 2 Duo w. 4MB L2, 1.8GHz, 2.5" SATA HDD (ie up to 500GB@5400RPM or 320GB@7200RPM), 4GB RAM, over 4h battery with standard battery, 8h with extended battery, and this is about half a year old. Did I mention the starting price of $1200, but you can get is for less than $1000?
So again... why is this "Rock" news? Looks kinda clone-y when you compare it to the X61s... but like a chinese knock-off version with disappointing specs and somehow a higher price.
