Contrary to popular belief (and what this article seems to infer), the "touch" portion of the screen is completely separate. There was no swapping - you simply lay the touch panel onto the existing LCD screen and wire it's controller into some USB traces on the mobo. This is quite common in the Eee community but good to see people are modding the Cloudbook as well.
