Redesign giveaway: HTC's new Shift UMPC

It wouldn't be quite right to put everyone through the re-acclimation process if there wasn't some giveaway gear attached, now would it? So in honor of today's makeover and the launch of Switched we're giving away a spankin' new HTC Shift UMPC. You know the details of the machine already, read the rules below for your chance to take home that $1,500 HTC-made portable.

• Leave a comment below. Feel free to shout out what you'd use this UMPC for. "Browsing Engadget" is a totally acceptable answer.
  
• You may only enter this specific giveaway once. If you enter this giveaway more than once you'll be automatically disqualified, etc. (Yes, we have robots that thoroughly check to ensure fairness.)
• If you enter more than once, only activate one comment. This is pretty self explanatory. Just be careful and you'll be fine.
  
• Contest is open to anyone in the 50 States, 18 or older! Sorry, we don't make this rule (we hate excluding anyone), so be mad at our lawyers and contest laws if you have to be mad.
  
• Winner will be chosen randomly. That winner will get a brand new HTC Shift. Package includes all retail hardware, but may not have manuals or software. Approximate value is $1,500.

Help - I am in need of a small computer to take to court to try and beat two bogus lawsuits by tenants trying to get out of their responsibilities. I need to be able to quickly search the rental contract to say - Yes that was in the rental contract & on page # such and such, line # - when the attorney starts grilling me. Otherwise I have to try and keep this all in my head or figure out how to drag my desktop in with me.

I'm a mobile professional so I'd use it for email, web browsing, presentations, signing documents, draw my thoughts and jot notes all the time, I'd certainly find a way strap it on me or find a bag that can fit comfortably on me at all times. If it were possible to put a strap around it and wear it around my neck, I'd do that too! My birthday is in 3 days and I'll tell you, it would be the best gift a 36 year old could ever ask for. I'll be crossing my fingers! Congratulations to the WINNER!

I'd use the HTC Shift in the research laboratory I work in.

I do fundamental combustion studies (flame speeds, ignition/extinction conditions, etc.). It's not just burning stuff, because just burning stuff is actually fun. *sigh*

I'd throw LabView on the device and use it as a portable, self-contained data center. Then take the thing home with me to analyze away.
