Interesting but as long as states like California have laws against putting stuff on the windscreen I don't know why these guys don't offer real alternatives.
Sony's is nice- the suction cup sticks pretty much anywhere- even on rough surfaces.
Too bad the response time is slow & the software is somewhat clunky.
They sell GPS systems built into the rearview mirror now. And you can always attach it to the dashboard by making some sort of hook for the disk of that suctioncup I guess, should not be too hard. Or you can mail the governor and point out it's not 1950 and they should attach a rule to allow GPS, let them do their job and keep things up-to-date. I say attachment because I'm guessing the law is to prevent those mexican situations where people have so much decoration on their window that there's not much room left to look through, so it serves a purpose as it is and they want to keep the rule.
