Zune headed for Canada on June 13th!
Hear that? That's the sound of dozens of Canadians rejoicing as they finally get a launch date for the Zune in Canada, a year and a half after Zune's debut in the US. As rumored, Canadians will have a slightly limited lineup on offer, with no 30GB or green versions to puzzle over, but the red Zune 80 will indeed be making an appearance, along with the rest of the players. Prices range from $140 to $250 Canadian Dollars, which sources tell us is a real currency akin to salt traded by the ancients or a Starbucks Card.

seriously wtf is this thing not available even in canada. What are you doing microsoft...fail
now we just have to make sure Canada doensn't go on strike...
Why is adding "eh" to a comment even funny?
Get this BS outta my country. I don't wanna see it, we don't wanna see it, the geese don't wanna see it. You can keep your clunky POS.
Wow. Looks like the Apple fanboys have come out in full force to discredit this Touch Diamond. HTC must have done something right and this TouchFLOW is getting on their nerves.
Bwaaahaahaaaaahaaa. That's funny. I'll mark it in my iCal. LOL.
i can't believe microsoft paid Lexicon millions and millions of dollars to name this product the french equivalent of "pee-pee"
Interesting that I posted a comment to exactly this topic early this morning on the last Zune Canada posting, mentioning both that Zune.net/en-CA was live AND that the Red zune was indeed coming to Canada, yet no mention as to how you came about this info. Not saying you ripped me off and called it your own discovery or anything, just saying it is interesting. A coincidence if nothing else.
There is only one thing to do. Learn the language of the iPods, earn their trust, then breed with their women. And in time our differences will be forgotten.
Wait, the Zune wasn't available in Canada? Hmph. How 'bout that.
Did anyone notice that the geniuses at Micro$oft chose Friday the 13th for their launch?
Funny currency exchange comments... funnier that they're not true because of how much the American economy has tanked and the Canadian dollar is now worth MORE than the American.
But because American's are so ingnorant, I guess you're still going to believe you're better than the rest of the world.
stop commenting on the currency, or the fact that you shouldn't care about Canadians. lets make the important point, since Toshiba and Kenwood disappeared the Zune has enjoyed some high audiophile praise. The Ipod may be used by 75% of the population, but the discriminating user will think twice, look at both, and then probably build their own amp. As far as I can tell the Zune approaches closer to a 50% market share in this coveted field, and per capita it has also been my experience that Canada has more audiophiles. so it actually is important and that 50,000 might be a lower level estimate. Welcome Zune, competition is always good. and to the UK members, I will keep my fingers crossed that you guys are not far behind.

To resolve some of the Zune problems, like not being able to access it's folders in My Computer (Vista), or incompatibility with WMP11, or using 3rd party music providers like Napster, goto www.zuneboards.com, sign up for free, and check out the hack section. I recommend the HD hack, and zalternator.
I have had a 30gb Zune since last fall. Bought right here in London Canada. I have NO problems getting signed in OR getting help from them if I need it. This is a great product.
