Rock Band's drum kit for Wii tested, actually a bit different

Oh, hey, is that the Wii Rock Band drum kit? On shag, you say? And wireless with the included dongle? Say, is that all white plastic? Well, it turns out this kit has basically the same feeling as its other-platform counterparts, with the exception of some softer drum pads and a strengthened kick pedal. Sold, Harmonix, sold.

I had my drum kit for ps3 replaced since I rocked out a bit too hard on it and Harmonix was awesome about it and replaced it. The new version is definitely different than the one at launch: the pads are a tad squishier and softer and feel like they could taking a real beating. I never replaced the drum pedal though, I put some Pedal Metal Carbon on it and it works great!

Anybody see that Rock Band has some official drum pads out now? Interesting. Saw em at Best Buy.
