iriver rolls out discreet Domino flash drives
iriver sure does know how to cut away the excess on its products, and it looks like its new Domino flash drive is no exception. Available in 2GB and 4GB capacities, this one packs one of those sliding USB connectors that iriver seems to be increasingly fond of these days, and is available in your choice of white, silver, black, chocolate, pink or coral pink color options. No word on a release 'round these parts, unfortunately, but those in Korea can apparently get their hands on one now for the local equivalent of $21 or $34, depending on the capacity.

These look cool.
God I wish I was born in Japan or Korea.
This looks better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171358
This is what I use as a flash drive. I bought it because I had a Sanyo Exacti that record to SD, but it's so dang useful that I keep it in my wallet.
I've seen lot's of those "world's smallest flash drive" stories and none of them are as small as an SD card.
Rank me up!
RichardBronosky i trump you with http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT4GBUFDJNR000

Easy to lose.

I have had a Sony Micro Vault for over a year now... what is the big deal?
Sure, you know where to meet me.

I will be the envy of my class when I bring this little thing out!
That's what he said?
Buuuttttt Slam!!!!!
on 97.1 Quahog!
lol thanks for the laugh while helping a client over the phone. haha.
jenkins you son of a bitch, that was hilarious
Wow. I love it. But 4gb? That seems like the min to me. What about 8 & 16? Maybe their target market won't support it, but I'd really like to have that on a keyring. Much better than the big Kingston I've got now.
4GB is minimal?
Apple didn't think so when they made the iPhone.
Flashpoint- they did pretty soon after it went to market. Don't forget- the 4gb iPhone is dead, dead.
Yup iPhoneis 8 and 16 just like our flash drives should be..... at least minimum. I want 32 and 64GB!!
P.S. I know i'm greedy
@flashpoint, give the size of this 8GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208420 I'd say that in that HUGE space they should be able to cram at least 32GB.
If you are looking for a good tiny multipurpose flash, try this out:

Serves as a flash drive, SD card, and micro SD card. 2GB for $12
Engadget is so focused on "what's coming" that they fail to notice "what's here"!
I like the Macbook in the picture.
Flash drivers are still too expensive.
what sir are you smoking? i remember when a 2 gig was 60 bucks. so i say to you GOOD DAY
For real....what are you smoking???
Flash drives are cheap as hell now.
Can I have whatever you are smoking?
Can I have some of what you're smoking??????
I'd rather not say what I'm smoking...
My first Sandisk 1 gig cost me £35.
I have no regrets.
Wow you all bought cheap, I spent over £100 or $200 for a 1GB about 5 years ago!
I remember when the first four-gig cost over nine-hundred USD.
the PQI are the smallest ones i have ever seen. i got the one where u can wear it as a necklace. got a pink 2gb for 10 bux on valentines day for a girl. hahaha
Wow that looks gorgeous
WANT!
seriously, give it to me now!!!
I can't read that, how do I get one! :P Do they ship to the states?
very sexy
I like.
domino mother#$^&%!
someone had to say it
I'm troubled by all the people who find a domino sexy. That's odd and unsettling.
Expensive compared to a normal Kingston Data Traveler !!!
PQI has drives smaller than this. And cheaper.
I have the 4GB Kingmax "smallest flash drive in the world." It's been extremely fast for me, and it's just impressive to other people. I keep it in my wallet, about as thin as a credit card. I would love for a company to make a USB drive that is just as thin, the size of a credit card to keep in wallet, but bigger in capacity.
I got two of these: http://www.transcend.nl/products/ModDetail.asp?ModNo=181
Each 2GBs and I bought one for 7€ through the web and the other one was 9€ in store. This thing had been on Engadget months ago but it seems the US don't get them. Don't ask me why.
sexy looking laptop, too. what model is it?
Much smalled and cooler and very cheap i have one 4GB awesome

May I recommend the Pico series from Super Talent... specifically the Pico_C. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=250356
I have the 8GB Pico_C, it's super tiny, stays connected to my keychain, and I haven't lost it yet :)
Okay, iRiver made a product which puts the coolness of Apple design in the shade. This is extremely cool design. Probably the most minimalist design ever for a flash drive. Where can I buy these?
