Finger Mouse goes wireless, still swallows up your digit
Really, people? Are there not enough mouse choices out there to satisfy whatever your poor little palm craves? For those just dead set on bucking the trend and attempting to be more ergonomic, the newest iteration of the Finger Mouse won't disappoint. The unit arrives with a wireless USB dongle and completely engulfs whichever finger you choose to mount the mouse itself on; from there, the 1,000DPI device supposedly moves your cursor around as you wiggle your digit. We don't have to tell you how bizarre you'll look with this on, but if you couldn't care less, hand over your $41.99 and strap on your goofiest grin.

I think this would prove very helpful to gynecologists who need to work through an EMR form.

Would everyone please be calm and mature?
Nawww I'm just kiddin', "swallows your digits"! Ahahahaha!
Honestly this is what i have been waiting for! my wrist hurts from the mouse movement all the time. I can't get used to a ball mouse , this should solve both problems, seems easier, since you can use the mouse while on the keyboard. Wonder how well it works? i might spend 41 bux to try it
My guess would be that it'll generally work as the wired version. While I may be wrong, it doesn't seem to have accelerometers nor is are the optics focused for something a few inches away. So, that front detector probably has to be flush with the table so that it can capture movements. I'd rather see a trackball or pointer stick version.
I have the wired and after putzing around with it for a few minutes, I put it away. Thinking of maybe hacking it into something eventually since its guts are so small.
I can see it making sense in shops or something with just a screen and keyboard... cheaper than a touchscreen and doesn't take up room
That's not Finger Mouse.
This is Finger Mouse.

I can't believe I used to watch this crap as a child. No wonder the rave generation happened (well, that and PacMan -- running round a darkened room, listening to repetitive electronic music and munching pills -- what did they expect?)
Yay, all hail the real Fingermouse - great memories for us in the UK who were kids in the 80's.
