Desktops will remain until I don't need to tether my CPU to: printer, scanner, external hardrive, 2nd monitor, PDA, mp3 player, TV input, etc.The CPU is not the problem, it's all the debris you have to connect to, still mainly with cables.I had a laptop that eventually became immobilized by a cobweb of accessory cables.
