MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition
Just let that name sink in a little. Seriously, we couldn't make this stuff up. Our main point of contention is the emphasis on netbook love, or is this merely a love edition of the Wind netbook? Questions that need answers, MSI. From what we can tell, the only netbook loving that's happening here is MSI has slapped on a few hearts in various colors, and will be making charity contributions to Taiwan, China, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea and India to help kids there learn how to use computers. Oh, and you want to know what this charity is called? "Love with the Wind." We're dead serious. Would we lie to you on matters of such gravity? Well, probably. No word on exactly when, where, or how much these new laptops are going for.[Via Pocketables Forum]

Made for e-dating on the go?
so the only addition is hearts? wheres the love?
cute
If Asus and MSI had these $400 and $500 jobs ready for "back to school " in walmart and Costco and BJ's, they'd make an easy killing.
AMEN!
You can't buy a plain old black one to save your life these days. I've tried FOUR times, and failed each time due to no stock available.
MSi is simply not sending them to the US, but apparently is supplying every other country with plenty.
Put graphically, "MSi does not heart the USA".
"Love with the wind"?
Do we really need ANOTHER blow job euphemism?
Awesome.
MSI Love wind is a little better than MSI Queef.
This looks like to is geared to teenage girls.
What's next? Racing Cars?
I have a question?
So who is leading the pack on these mini notebooks?
Regards
This looks like it's geared to teenage girls.
(Sorry for the brain fart.)
Actually the way availability is around these parts I'd rather call them 'Gone with the Wind'
Need one for men called sex.
It comes in a plain brown paper case
this will sell.
I already bought 10!
Any spec changes? Or should I just custom order a skin to slap on the back, that costs much less?
but you can't order or smack love on the back, the greatest revolution in computer history.
oh please, do NOT try to smack love on the back, you sicko.
I really thought you were making that up.
I think I will projectile vomit, now
theres a better way to lose weight
I dont remember seeing this much negativity when apple was selling the (RED) iPod Nanos.......
"no word on when, where, or how much?"
I sent Engadget the link last night with all three.

I think it's cute and I applaud the contributions to charity.

Terrible. Just Terrible. Why not focus on getting the 6 Cell unit out at the original said price point?
Terrible. Just terrible.
how about they just work on getting us shipments of the "REGULAR" MSI winds here in the states, and stop screwing around with this crap!

Come on people, where's the love?
Oh! Wait I found it here on the back of my computer. Silly me!
The Charity Edition is currently selling (and available) in Australia. Unfortunately most of us don't care about the Special Heart Edtion and are scrambling for the Black and White ones instead (which incidently are mostly out of stock). =D
As for price, there is no difference between the normal ones and the Charity Edition.
Not that I'd buy one, but the thing would look a lot better if the hearts were solid colors instead of just black and yellow outlines. It looks like someone just scribbled on their laptop as it is now.
reminds me of hancock's "all-heart" logo
I have seen this before, they have this version of wind in the Taiwan site since some weeks ago-
Have you people seen the names they called to the other colors? Angel White, Empire Black, Romantic Pink and this one Wind for love. Seriously, MSI should get a new employer just to give better names to their products.
Lol, so instead of your money going "Gone with the Wind" your money is going to "Looove with the Wind (^k^) ?"
I saw this in the store, and was instantly reminded on one of those toy computers that could only do specific tasks like math and teach you how to spell.
The feeling I had then is also what I have now "What the f$&k, this isn't a computer, it's a toy"...an expensive toy!
Where is my Cock Edition?
Kids in Poland kinda already know how to use computers, lol.
