I just want a phone that does all the little meaningless things that make biPhone users think they're so cool because their stupid inadequate overpriced disappointment phone can do: like multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen and screen view that automatically flips to landscape when you rotate the phone. Finally a phone that really does do EVERYTHING the iPhone does and more and does it better. There will be a version of it on every carrier too so everyone can have one. They have a very serious shot at taking up the market that Apple can't touch which should at least let this phone equal biPhone sales, if not surpass it.
still waiting to be impressed by something
I don't get why the surface is capacitive with multi-touch, yet the screen itself is resistive. Is this a limitation of Windows Mobile?
guys - im going to bet that this "multi touch" is basically two split input panels at the bottom of the phone, which cann both work at the same time... not true multitouch.
notice he didnt cross over from one side to the other. eh? eh??
still interesting and potentially useful, but not the same thing. (and mechanically, WAY easier to implement).
Getting single touch to work properly would be already a good start.. I bought a Diamond and I spend more time resetting it than actually use it... I might be doing something wrong, but I doubt it...
