Samsung's X360 and X460 laptops revealed in Turkey?

in the embedded video the laptop only appears after about 4.30.
Its actually a SU9300, I'm waiting for the Vaio TZ or its replacement to come out next month.

What's the technical name for that style of keyboard? I know most people call them MacBook keyboards, but they must have a real name.
I think its Tray Style but I am not sure.

For those who don't speak Turkish.
Couple of things that was said.
First this is being put in the market sometime around October.
There will be a 13" and 11" models to follow to compete with makers like Sony.
The Keys are Silver Plated so that bacteria does not spread when others are using it.
I know samsung make there washing machines run there water over a silver plate to kill bacteria but on a laptop.???
Of all countries for it to end up in, why Turkey? Its not like theres a massive technological enterprise there.
Turkey is a modern and technologically advanced country; it's as good of place as any to launch.

not really sure why jojo is flaunting an attack on a country he probably knows jack about.. maybe he watched that simpsons episode where there was weed everywehre? ANYWAY lets not start a flame war.
Turkey is an odd selection nonetheless considering its semi-euro based tech sector and high import/luxury taxes which end up making alot of tech related gear REALLY expensive (also gas is like a 10bucks a gallon jesus f. christ) That being said there is a very large section of the public which is both endowed with such $$(or YTL) and also really enthusiastic about gadgets. It sorta makes sense..I guess?
Anyway on the topic of the laptops I have tried chicklet style keyboards and they aren't my kind of thing, the Powerbook G4 AL/MacBook Pro keyboard is my favorite all time mobile board but even that pales in comparrison to microsoft natural keyboard goodness.. but thats jsut me
people i am warning . never ever buy samsung's laptop. they are ex trimly weak and get hot like hell..
due to fault in exhaust fan it often shutdown itself .
i have 2 years experience with this piece .
and not to mention too expensive also . i agree it looks sleek and sexy but whats the use if you cant use that ..
I couldn't disagree more; I'm using a Samsung R20 and when it was released here in the UK it was price competetive with the other low to mid-range laptops that were available. It certainly feels like it's been put together far better than some, like the Acers. My flatmate also has a Samsung laptop and neither mine, nor his get 'hot like hell' or shut down randomly.
I'm a little disappointed to see the Sony X505 style keys on this new model because the keyboards on the current models have a great feel to them when typing, but I guess Samsung are pretty keen to emulate the sleekness of their other consumer electronics in their laptops. It's a pity that they aren't being a bit more daring and releasing more laptops like the Q30 and Q40, which seem like the kind of style that they need if they want to grab attention from all of the other laptops on the market.

and for graham's comment. I think it's not about massive technological enterprice, it's about making money and with a very young population figures, Turkey would be a good test market.
Additionally, they say they are willing to compete with Vaio and since Vaio's are extremely expensive in Turkey, they have really good chance....
but does the X360 play Xbox 360 games?

Why is the right click button on they keyboard so big though?

Glad to see some know that Sony invented this gapped keyboard style with their X505 back in 2004, not the Macbook as all Apple fanboys think. Of course the Macbook is far more known than the X505.
Sony was also the first to use glossy screens in their TR series in 2003 and LED backlit screens in their TX series in 2005.
Will it have Red Rings of Death too ?
BTW i think they're not going to launch it only in Turkey. turkey is just start of advertising campaign... So don't be jealuos guys, have vision :)

as user erhan mentioned above, the keys are nano-silver coated and are antibacterial.

-the finish is scratch-resistant (woohoo! hopefully fingerprint resistant as well)
-price is not yet determined, as the configurations are not finalized
-there will be other screen sizes (13.1", 12"), like on model q 310. they will perform on par with this model

Sorry that we were in a hurry and couldn't mention some details about products. Anyways Engadget's experienced editors handled the situation with care. And thanks to the readers about adding the details.
Launch was about Samsung entering Turkish notebook market. They were in Turkey for a long time with all other IT and non-IT products (I mean excavators and air conditioners :P) but no notebooks. So do not think they've actually launced these new products exclusively in/for Turkey. :) Two models will officially be revealed in October, as sources say.
Anyways, as we got some comparative information about pricing, X360 will be cheaper than competing products like Vaio Z and maybe Panasonic's Toughbook 12 inch notebooks if you compare the little one with battery life. Seems like, a fierce war is on the way.
