High Def? Not Hard Drive?
I hope to god when you said high def netbook it was sarcasm and not sheer dumbness and making yourself looking as intelligent as a tit.
I thought it was high-def at first, but then of course, I read the article.

I could be wrong, but I think I've already seen this for sale in Myer in Australia. It was alongside the eee 900, but included a 30gig hard drive instead? I was somewhat surprised to find it there a few weeks ago.

Unless I see a price drop around the corner I will thank ASUS for bringing this segment alive, but go for the new Acer Aspire 1.
$399 for the newest model gets you 1G ram 160G HD, and FINALLY the 6cell battery. AOA150-1570
Still not sure on camera specs though, I have seen .3 and 1.3 on different sites

Actually, Acer Aspire One is available at any BestBuy for $349.99 (all probably sold out by now i assume). It launched on 8/24 and i picked one up (there was actually a mini-crowd before the store opened up). 8.9" backlit LED screen (oh so good), 1GB RAM (512mb onboard/512mb Sodimm), 120GB HD, Atom 1.60ghz processor, and so forth.
