Wish X360 did high resolution playback like PS3.
Question... what about people who plopped down MS points for themes? Do they just get shafted? I never pay for stuff like that, thankfully.
you can still use your themes, they just look a lil different with the new dashboard, you can also keep your gamerpics as well you do not need to switch to avatars, although i wish you could just keep the blades for your standard dashboard, they should give you the option of keeping blades or going to the new cover flow like dashboard that would be nice but we all know that aint happening
You'll actually get to see more of your theme with the update.
im really excited about the install feature but I agree about the themes and gamerpics ive spent at least $10 on some of that stuff im going to be a little pissed if they cant still be used.

Thankfully I won't be going "home" during Thanksgiving, maybe I can awkardly talk with them over Live...
@WInslow, the themes will work, it's be written about before.
I'm a PS3 person myself, but, I did like the old blade menu. I really don't like the new menu though, it's too... Childish. I agree with what people saying about them trying to go after younger gamers. I know PS3 has it's bad points, but at least I feel there supporting the gamers. It seems with 360, they've got all the hardcore gamers, and now they're shafting them to get the younger gamers, as they know most 360 gamers aren't suddenly going to buy a PS3.
And no, I don't really think it's a rip of from any software, there are familiarities, but that isn't copying.
My birthday is November 14th........ I hope I get an early birthday present.........
Comon guys will all know when this update will come on NOV 22 (the aniversary of the 360) ;)
THIS IS TOTAL CR@P! Because of this @%&*!# update I’m selling my 360 and getting a PS3. Thanks Micro$ucks for ruining the 360 for the hardcore gamer! IDIOTS!
Just letting everybody know, i just got a message from xbox live saying that it will be going down for a system update on the 29th of September, come on avatars, come on.
A bit inconvenient though, as it is also the day that the end war vip demo starts as well, lol.

This update us amazing i too was also hoping it to release around now. As you can see its been a long time in maintence for xbox live and its website. So something could be going on. Maybe xbox 360 has already developed something good enough to impress its consumers. This is a amazing update and i really look forward to it. Xbox always ROCKS!!!! I use it more than my ps3. My ps3 is only for my blue ray player. But yep... XBOX IS THE BEST!!!!
