Now, if this had true he and bluray profile 2, I would be drooling all over that glossy black finish that matches my entire entertainment system ( ps3, samsung TV)
You don't have to a a video monitor of any type if you only want to use this HTiB for the audio aspects of Blu-ray. Personally, I'd go a different route, but for some... wait, they left out the hi-def audio codecs??
I hate low ranking in such a stupid manner but face it people, what's so compelling to buy a BD player ? I certainly can't find any, and believe it or not most people don't even use their DVD players that often, I certainly won't buy an $1500 device that I won't actually use more than a few hours in the weekend. And about Quality of BD, I focus on a movie's plot when I'm watching, and Blu-ray quality won't improve the plot also I don't think that DVD quality is that bad either.
shhh! don't you know that lack of undying love for the latest pinnacle of a tech niche regardless of all other trends and considerations means you're just a 'hater'?

Uhh... you shouldn't, you're obviously not the target demographic...
its way overpriced and add to that bluray is a failure.
DVD quality is plenty good for my 42" screen. I'll pick up a BluRay player when the price drops or when i need one out of convenience.
