HP's 8.9-inch
2133 Mini-Note is apparently
a raging success, so it makes sense that the company would want to expand the line, and it looks like we might be getting a preview of what's in store with the Digital Clutch, a bright red 10-inch netbook that debuted last night during designer Vivienne Tam's fashion week show in NYC. Not much is known about the internals, but the case sports an Asian-inspired peony flower design, and the screen fills the entire lid with very little bezel. If we had to guess, we'd say that it's more likely that there's a VIA Isaiah chip in there instead of an Atom, given the C7M found in the current Mini-Note, but we'll see -- and hopefully soon, since at least one HP rep apparently confirmed that the machine is the next generation Mini-Note. Does anyone mind if I scream?
Wooo big deal its pink! Now pink feels included ... However ugly not as fugly as this http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2008/02/lenovo_olympics_limited_edition_laptop.html
What end of the spectrum does this thing come from? This thing is certainly some combination of illegal, unethical, and unstylish.
What part of the spectrum does this thing come from? I'm sure this thing is some combination of illegal, unethical, and unstylish.
Noooo...a plastic Mini-Note?
What happened to the awesome aluminum body?
Looking closely, I see the port arrangement is different, the ports themselves now look like all the other plastic netbooks (large chunks of rectangular plastic next to each for support), and the two big sturdy hinges have been replaced by a wide center hinge.
I sincerely hope that's just a special plastic one-off and that they'll still make the aluminum-bodied one, albeit now with VIA Nano and a 10" screen.
Maybe it'd look a little better if we weren't seeing the keyboard reflected in the screen, so the pink weren't omnipresent.
A *little*. As in, your eyes are still going to bleed, but at least they won't explode.
Its really not that bad, just looks tacky with the neon painted keyboard. It would've been much better leave it in its original silver color.
I don't know what the hell everyone else is talking about, its beautiful!! The only way it could get even better is if it was pink and not just the lighting making it look pink. They should totally come out with one that is Hello Kitty pink **nods** I would get that in a heart beat. Stop being boys.
it was supposed to be red? i saw pic of it in red, other in orang... ando now thi one in pink-please do-brun-my-eyes... i love the red and orange ones...
