I would assume that it has a big base because it also contains integrated speakers, wi-fi and a web client capable of downloading photos from Flickr, etc.
Oled will take over the LCd TV market soon as they solve the blue burn out. this technology will drive the next market and we will see tv monitors so thin that theywill eventually make mags and text books and wallpaper out of this stuff. bet the house on that!!
I expect to see one of these on the CEO's desk within a year. It's probably be the only place I'll ever see one.
