I don't get the Apple elistism. I'm a Mac user, but I don't understand why Macs have to be "different" in order to be special to a Mac user are well beyond my reasoning. I can't agree. It's purely ego.
I use OS X because of the OS. Period. If there was no OS X, and no progress and refinement in OS X, I wouldn't buy it. The OS is what does it for me. Excellent implementations of multiple desktops (Spaces), Exposé, and even Dashboard is what makes it more practical to me.
It's not the aluminium or any mechanical parts inside. Get over yourself.
