Is it me or does the color on this MSI notebook closely resemble the newly announced Toshiba high-end ones that was about $4K ....except for the 4 Harmon ...speakers..

Stopped reading after I saw "AMD powered" and "Gaming laptop" in the same sentence.

Stopped reading after I read Clyzm, which is, as I understand, from the latin-based word roughly translating into 'close-minded' in modern English.

We'll humor you and pretend that a laptop's CPU matters more than its platform or video card for gaming...
Puma is a very nice platform for gaming.

I prefer my laptops with dual subs.

Will they run Crysister ?

Looks very nice, also small bezel.

the 15.4 should have an ATi card.
oh well ..

I love how most published laptop specs fail to report the native resolution on their LCDs. Like, does anyone really want a 17" laptop running 1280 x 1024? Is it really that hard to tell us? wtf?

Good point, very good point.

My thoughts exactly...

Now could someone please explain to me why in the hell does the MBP cost twice as much as these things yet they virtually match it and in some cases exceed it in terms of specs?
Also OSX should drive the price of the MacMooks down, not up, since its a crippling and limiting OS compared to Vista which supports everything under the sun and then some.

The Macbook lines have the aluminum unibody for people like Clak and Jubei to try to stick their wankers in.
The AMD Puma platform might be good for costs too, considering Intel's mobile CPUs are all >$200 per chip I think.
The Mobility 3850 looks nice- overall great performance without much compromise. And won't melt down, either.

I would really like 15.4 model with Radeon card too. Would buy imediatelly.
Would be nice to put them againt Dell XPS 1530/1730 and some other gaming laptops. To see price/perfomance ratio.

The 15 inch would be much better if they gave more pixels than the 1280 x 800.....overall not bad for the price, though the screen is a deal killer for me.
