It's quirky but the live traffic works well (in Austin and Houston) and the yahoo search is far superior and more up to date than what is available elsewhere. Something that I think many overlook when criticizing the monthly fees is that you also get map updates as part of the service.
The customer service at Dash is also top notch. That may not matter for some, but it more than makes up for any small problems that we've had with the device.
