Vizio's $500 32-inch EcoHD LCD TV gets pictured
Curiously, Vizio announced its power-sipping EcoHD LCD TV at the tail end of an Energy Star 3.0 release yesterday rather than making a big fuss about it. In fact, it was introduced with such little fanfare that we were left to imagine what it would look like. Thankfully, the OC Register managed to acquire a press shot of the forthcoming set, and while the lower grille is Vizio through and through, we kind of dig the atypical white motif and subtle curves. And the green HD logo on the bottom there is extra cute, if we may say so ourselves.

Seriously? White and silver? That's the best they could do? I thought with the word Eco in the product title it would have bamboo or something renewable or even hideous green paint.
The overall design looks nice tho, looks a lot like my VX42 except that it's not black and silver.
wow all they did is take there old 32" set and make it white, same case and everything my friend has a black one exactly like it, you think they could of pulled together somethin better than that, maybe some modern futuristic design at least a little pizaz or somethin. and boo engadget for not pointing that out
Maybe the "Vizio" lights up green when it's on... now THAT would be sweet. :)
This set looks almost identical to the 32" weistinghouse. I thought vision was going to go up market...I guess that means painting the TV a different color.
I have to say it looks similar, but I like the white bezel. I think it suits the eco-smart - very clean and crisp looking. If I can save some money on my electric bill as well as get a nice HDTV I'm always for it. Love my other Vizio VO32L, so I might just have to check this out for xmas.
Nice looking design. Glad Vizio is thinking about green issues too. It looks similar to my 42inch XVT, but I like how that looks so... The little green patch is a nice touch.
