Sony has announced that it will be manufacturing and selling at least four more products, contradicting rumors that the company has "packed it in," because "we have enough money, don't you think?" The four new desktop speaker systems will find their homes in the SRS line, consisting of the SRS-M50 (the 5W travel speakers that
we first saw last week), the SRS-Z50 (a two piece system featuring a 38mm Neodymium driver unit and "rich bass reproduction"), the SRS-D25 (a 25W three piece set featuring a stylish "hatbox" subwoofer) and the
crème de la crème, the SRS-Z100, whose 25W speakers boast "enhanced bass response" and "detailed and crisp high frequencies." Capping off this stunning news, the speakers will be available in a number of stylish colors, including "urban black," "luxury pink," and "blazing red." But not so fast! Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date
Actually, the choir of angels rejoice without these speakers.
Urban black? Hah!
next is "Shanghai Yellow" and "Reservation Red"
I'll take a pair in "Nerdy White", thanks.
Suburban White?
not white - the suburbs are beige; a nice, uniform shade of beige. A pair of these in beige would go good velcroed to the dash of a soccer mom's minivan dashboard...
Better use for these; hang them from your rear-view mirror.
FUGLY desktop speakers, look more like cheap mobile (cell) phone speakers or cheap portable cd player speakers from the 90's, Im not buying it, I need proffesional speakers

"What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited."
I had a CD player back in 2001 that looked a lot like that. Wasn't Sony though.
I don't think Sony has to much money.. I think they could use some more cash flow in, what with the massive loss of money due to battery failures and the loosing money on each PS3 console just to get people to afford them.
Plus they are a company that actually tries to push technology instead of sitting back and being greedy.
I just wish they never stopped working on their beyond belief awesome Qrio robot. (Or perhaps they still are in secret, who knows. Last I heard they were going to sell the technology and rights to Toshiba.)
Lay off the Sony Kool-Aid, its rotting your brain.
Actually the CHOIR of angels REJOICES.
That is all.
