Move over, Eee: Android now running on HP Mini-Note 2133
Not content with letting the freelancers at Venture Beat hog the spotlight, some HP-loving Canadians decided to take their 2133 Mini-Note and add a dash of Google's Android OS -- the best thing to happen to netbooks since SSD. There isn't really much in terms of details right now, but if you're the kind of person who gets totally stoked by watching someone go through a preference pane and empty photo album -- without using a mouse, mind you -- we've got just the video for you after the break. Let's hope this Android-netbook lovefest doesn't stop anytime soon.

Nice to see progress on the Android side. Its becoming an OS with full-fledged development going on. But personally, I'd prefer XP on my netbook. It allows everything that Android does and has great support for 3rd party apps, MS Office, etc. However, it can be really helpful for reducing the cost of the netbook and providing all functionality to users in a small little organized interface.
I would be amazed to see iPhone OS with firmware 2.2 running on the mini note however.....
Why are people telling other people what OS they should run on their netbooks? Some people need a new hobby.. posting negative comments all day seems like a wasted life.
Dont be ashameds Brak. You are doing a public service
