HP Mini 1000 six-cell battery spotted by Mr. Blurrycam

While most folks will apparently have to wait at least a few more weeks to get their hands on a six-cell battery for their HP Mini 1000, Xavier Lanier of Notebooks.com was able to snag one a tad early and, whilst he was showing off the stash of gadgets hidden in his Scott eVest, he gave everyone a little glimpse of it. As you can sort of see above, it expectedly adds a bit of bulk to the otherwise slim Mini 1000, but we're guessing that's a more than acceptable trade-off for those craving some extra runtime. Still no word on a price or exact release date just yet, unfortunately, but those details should be popping up before too long. Hit up the link below for the full, slightly less blurry video.

Seriously, enough with the blurry cam "jokes." Continually pointing out when something is photographed in a less than sharp manner indicates your disdain for the photograph, but your continued use of such images belies this stance. So really, shut up. Or stop posting the images. One or the other, but not both. It's just unnecessarily snarky and not the least bit hypocritical.

This battery is actually for the HP Mini 1000 CTO PC (whatever that is) but one member of the forum confirmed with HP that it will work on the HP Mini 1030NR too, which most likely means it works on every HP Mini 1000.

The 6-cell battery is listed as a lithium polymer, 2.4Ah and 53Wh at a price of $153.90 plus $11.25 for standard shipping or $16.95 for NBD and it is in stock and orderable.
