White Dell Adamo pictures leak out
While we got some early time with Dell's super-secret Adamo prototype, it looks like we weren't the only ones -- and it also looks like we didn't get the whole enchilada: there's a wicked-sexy white version hiding in the Palms as well. Still no more details than before, but bub.blicio.us was also allowed to boot the aluminum ultraportable, so at least we know that there's chips in that box. We're actually headed back to check out the Mini 10, so we'll dig for even more (and try to get pictures in a better-lit room), but for now check these latest Adamo pictures in the gallery.

Finally, someone has managed to almost copy the sleek Macbook design. Voodoo and Dell have gotten the memo, we want thin laptops and not the doofy hunks of slanted multi toned plastic with all types of connectors on the side. Clean edges seal the deal here. If this is anything like the Dell Mini then it is probably fully compatible for Leopard. This seems like a really nice laptop, I wonder what pricing will be like.
whats up with the back end on this machine?
Flash, have you fucking heard of it ? Bounced off ceiling or with a softbox, it works...better than a "better-lit room" :]
about time that idiot Michael Dell learned that people like well-designed computers! (although the XPS and Precision workstation models weren't too bad).
If Windows 7 turns out to be a great OS, and Sony, Lenovo, and Dell can pump out some sleek machines, Apple may just have to actually start selling Macbooks at a decent price and include decent features. Yes, that means the lack of Firewire, eSATA, ExpressCard, and SD card slot in the macbook.
@loosely_coupled: Apple likely won't sell their Macbooks any cheaper because they know people will pay a premium for their products. They won't make a netbook because they "don't know how to make a premium quality computer for that cheap" or something along those lines.
Apple is a niche market, they make stylish hardware that people will pay more for...it's a shame they won't get cheaper, I have a few Apple products but damn, this laptop is NICE! I have a white Macbook right now and looking to upgrade soon (OS X is randomly eating along the lines of 30GB of disk space even after I formatted, wtf) and maybe go back to Windows, if Windows 7 is as good as it's looking so far I may jump ship and go back. Anyways my point is this will be Dell's luxury computer that will likely be expensive...but wow is it sleek! Do want.
I think they could do it if they would super-size an iPod Touch up to about 8-10" screen and throw in some real productivity apps. they could call it the "iTablet" or some other BS with a leading "i"
Jobs and Apple don't have the balls to license their software for multiple hardware platforms...
it is allot easier to design a stable o/s when it only needs to work with specific hardware.
Am I the only one who thinks the texture on the white one makes it look like a kitchen appliance? Other than that, very slick!!
It sure is pretty, but it seems like a regular Dell ultraportable with a "Steal Me!" tag attached.
wow.
the only thing that would put this over the top is I personally don't like the screen not being mounted to the edge of the laptop, and if they had a nice crisp ceramic coating/finish. the lid just screams scratch-magnet to me. looks excellent otherwise.
